The Sugar Hole It is with wide eyes and sticky lips that Color Club announces the opening of The Sugar Hole, the world’s only puppet-powered ice cream walk-up window! Nestled in the leafy green understory of Chicago’s sweetest neighborhood, Irving Park, The Sugar Hole opens between the hours of 3 and 8 PM on summertime Saturdays and Sundays. The industrious puppet employees of The Sugar Hole will greet visitors and take their orders. Their fuzzy felt hearts beat for soft serve ice cream and they can’t wait to delight Chicago’s sweet teeth with their tasty recipe for good times. The Sugar Hole can be found on the Hamlin-facing side of Color Club, at 4146 N. Elston Avenue.

Cosmic Country Showcase: Bad TripThe Cosmic Country Showcase is back for three nights at Color Club this fall. Lunar crooner Andrew Saand cosmic clown Mary Williamson take us on a journey through the Cosmic Country that’s gone all kinds of sideways. Passengers on this trip will start in Color Club’s Tavern which will be completely transformed into a black light haunted bar by the stellar artist Glamhag before the house band, The Flying Objects, guide our hosts and esteemed guests through their nightmarish country-psych revue. Every show is different with on-theme artisans, local opening cosmic country acts, comedy, and variety changing each night!
