4.48 Psychosis by Sarah KaneAfter over 20 years since its publication, our ensemble will take you on a journey through Sarah Kane’s enduring text which creates a frenzied landscape of the mind at its lowest – and yet somehow its most lucid. While this play is shrouded in Sarah’s death, it is equally buoyed by the joy, love, and magic of life, and asks the fundamental questions: what it means to be human, what it means to be alive, and at what cost.

Judson Claiborne Record Release with BloodhypeJudson Claiborne is the folk rock music project of songwriter and DJ Christopher Claiborne Salveter. Raised in a Missouri river town-turned suburb, his earliest musical influences were oldies radio and MTV’s 120 Minutes. Chicago’s indie record labels and bands of the 1990s beckoned him to relocate there in 2000. Soon after, he started the group Low Skies, who released four records and toured as the support act for Neko Case, Explosions in the Sky, and Band of Horses. Low Skies’ final record, All the Love I Could Find (2006) received an 8.1 on Pitchfork. Over the past 15 years, Judson Claiborne has toured with Bill Callahan, Lower Dens, and John Grant. Live Active Culture (Volumes 1 & 2) will be Judson Claiborne’s 5th and 6th studio albums, following 2020’s When a Man Loves an Omen
Live Active Culture Vol. 1 is a witty, witchy, dreamy, experimental, affectionate, and politically astute companion for the times we’re living in. Mostly a product of remote collaboration throughout the many stages of pandemic lockdown, the songs were produced in bedrooms, basements, and studios throughout the US.
